![]() So I was a hiring manager for a while in event planning. I actually started hiring pretty early in my business, and the main reason for that was in the corporate world, I did quite a bit of hiring in that space. And it was at that point that I knew I was ready to pivot out of the corporate world, and so I started my career coaching practice. First, I worked in event planning, then in marketing. I spent about 10 years in the corporate world. So can you tell us what it looked like for you coming out of corporate America, realizing you wanted to do your own thing and some of those early problems that you had in building a team and hiring freelancers?
